How the Process Works

What to Include in Your Pitch

• Your name, role, location and preferred contact details.
• A portfolio, website or examples of relevant previous work.
• A short concept summary and the story behind the idea.
• Visual references, moodboards or sample treatments.
• The intended format: photography, film, writing, styling or mixed media.
• Proposed products, garments or categories, where relevant.
• Estimated timeline and production location.
• Expected deliverables and intended publishing channels.
• Any requested budget, product support or production resources.

Creative Independence & Brand Fit

We want collaborators to retain their own creative voice. At the same time, projects involving Velixo must present the brand and products accurately, respectfully and in line with the agreed concept.

Feedback or revisions may be requested where content includes factual inaccuracies, unauthorised brand changes, inappropriate product treatment or significant deviation from the agreed brief.

Products & Samples

Product loans, samples or gifting may be available depending on the project, availability and agreed production requirements. Receiving products is not guaranteed and does not automatically create a paid agreement.

Loaned items must be handled responsibly and returned in the agreed condition and timeframe. Any damage, loss or shipping responsibility will be confirmed before dispatch.

Fees, Budgets & Expenses

Collaboration structures vary. A project may be unpaid, product-supported, expense-covered, commissioned or fully paid depending on its commercial purpose, complexity, deliverables and available budget.

Any fee, product allocation, travel support, production expense or reimbursement must be agreed in writing before work begins. Unapproved expenses may not be reimbursed.

Ownership & Usage Rights

Creators generally retain ownership of their original work unless a separate agreement states otherwise. Velixo may require agreed rights to publish, repost, crop, resize, promote or archive the final content.

Usage duration, channels, territories, paid advertising rights, exclusivity and credit requirements will be defined according to the individual project.

Credits & Disclosure

Creator credits should be agreed before publication. Where products, payment, travel or other benefits are provided, all parties must follow applicable advertising disclosure rules and platform requirements.

Sponsored or gifted relationships must not be presented as independent editorial activity where disclosure is legally or contractually required.

• Do not begin production or incur costs before written confirmation.
• Velixo may decline concepts that overlap with existing or planned work.
• Confidential project information must not be shared before launch.
• Project timelines may change due to product availability or production needs.
• Final publishing decisions follow the written collaboration agreement.
